Description
Vol. 1 of these English digital bell-ringers includes 9 weeks of warm-ups for your middle schoolers. Complete with teacher guides for each weeks to provide answers and standards/topics to talk about with each slide. These bell-ringers provide variety throughout the week for your students, but also are meaningful and allow for creativity!
These come separated by week to share on Google Classroom or other platforms for your students to complete digitally every week.
*** You could also just project these on the whiteboard/ smart board and have students write their answers in a notebook and work through them on the board as a class.
I have my students complete these via Google Classroom, but I also project them on the board to go over their answers each day.
Monday - "Making Words Monday" - roots and affixes
Tuesday - "Twitter Tuesday" - proofreading grammar mistakes from celebrity tweets
Wednesday - "Work it Wednesday" - mentor sentences, labeling parts of speech/ sentence types
Thursday - "Throw-Down Thursday" - writing practice/ friendly competition - writing hooks
Friday - "Free Write Friday" - Picture Prompts for creative writing
