Digital Math Activities Distance Learning for Addition to 20. This resource is a fun, digital way to practice adding to 20, composing numbers to 20, finding the sum within 20, missing addend, balancing equations, commutative addition, and solving addition word problems/story problems within 20. This can be used for Distance Learning, practice a new math skill, end of year math review, assessments, interventions, stations, or home learning. Included are interactive math activities that can be used in Google Classroom™, Google Drive™, Google Slides™, and Seesaw™. These Interactive Digital Math Activities were created for 1st grade but could be also be used in a kindergarten classroom for enrichment.

Math Skills Included:

Addition to 20

• using manipulatives to solve addition problems
• adding two addends and finding the sum
• finding the missing addend
• solving word problems/story problems
• commutative addition (flipping the addends)
• balancing equations

Activities Included:

There are 5 different activities with practice slides for each

• Add It: add to find the sum (donut theme)
• Find It: find the missing addend (fish/pond theme)
• Solve It: solve simple word problems/story problems (multiple themes)
• Flip It: flip the addends to create new number sentence (flip flops)
• Balance It: balance equations by finding the missing number (cubes)
