What educators are saying

I really enjoyed all the different activities to help students study for their weekly dictée. I also like the list of words to use- I do not use them all each week or in order, but it is super convenient to have ready thought out vocab.
These pages are perfect for working on any spelling words! My students love the variety of practice sheets.

Description

Dictée de mots French spelling activities for older children

This is a spelling resource for older students (grades 4-6) learning the French language. Providing choice of activity is a great way to increase student engagement and responsibility. With 14 different activities included, students are able to choose from a variety of tasks to keep spelling activities fresh and original each week. This is a print-and-go spelling resource that contains everything you need to get started.

***This MAY also be appropriate for grade 3 students with prior French instruction.

This resource includes:

-14 different spelling practice activities

- 30 spelling lists appropriate for FSL learners in grades 4-6 (each with 12 words)

- 1 page of blank spelling lists for your own words

- 1 page of spelling list test forms

- 4 pages of teacher tracking sheets

- 1 page of teacher instructions

In this resource, you will find 30 spelling lists appropriate for FSL learners in grades 4 through 6 (age 9 – 12). The lists are numbered in order of difficulty. List #1 is the most simple with frequently used words, and list #30 would be more challenging, allowing for growth and mastery throughout the year. All words included are commonly used words when communicating in the French language.

Also, there are 14 different activities that can be used with each list. Blank lists are also included if you would like to create your own list (for thematic words, perhaps). You can print these activities in whole-page format or in half-size format (both are provided).
