Derivatives as a Function (Difference Quotient)

In this station activity, students are finding the derivatives of several different functions including, rational, polynomial, square root functions and more. Students will also take this idea one step further and find the line tangent to the curve at a point.

This activity is great for all levels of calculus and will push their algebraic skills to the end. A complete worked out solution key is provided so you can concentrate on the mathematics, not trying to find the solution!
