This product also provides supplemental worksheets that can be used as homework, independent work or during small-group instruction. The worksheets allow the students to continue to focus on the same skills being taught each week to encourage mastery.

Each decodable book is FULLY decodable and includes the trick words that follow the scope and sequence for the first grade level 1 Fundations® program.

• A worksheet for each trick word that is taught during the unit. Each worksheet aligns with the Science of Reading to encourage the students to use phonics skills to decode the trick word and memorize the "tricky" sound by heart.
