What educators are saying

This is a great resource! My kids loved it and it helped them understand figurative language better.
A fun, engaging, and relaxing activity to use with students right before the holiday break when everything is chaotic and attention spans are short. Also a nice resource to practice these skills before state testing. Thank you!

Description

In this set of five Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and winter-themed coloring sheets, students review standards while coloring!! These activities reflect the diversity and fun of the month of December. These no-prep worksheets are great for literacy centers, bell ringers, brain breaks, review, or substitute plans. All ages love to join in on the fun!

Student Experience: Students must identify the parts of speech or figurative language (allusion, alliteration, simile, metaphor, onomatopoeia, idiom, pun and personification) in the cute, custom-designed scenes or in sentences in order to color the picture. Some coloring pages require students to determine figurative language in context, and other sheets give a word, term, or phrases hidden in the picture.

Included:

- Five coloring sheets

- Answers

- Standards

- Classroom Samples
