Pg. 3-5 Vocabulary in Context – copy pages A and B back to back, fold on the solid lines and cut on the dotted lines, illustrate and write a sentence for each vocabulary word
Pg. 6 Use It! - use your vocabulary words in a paragraph/short story
Pg. 7-8 Spelling Fun! – time to get a little crazy with your spelling words – Copy pages A and B back to back -write them with your eyes closed, with your opposite hand, with curls at the end of each letter, with your favorite color, in all capitals, in all lowercase – roll the dice to see what to do – write each word 3 times
Pg. 9-11 My Comprehension Flip It! – copy pages A and B back to back – fold on the solid lines, cut on the dotted lines – fill in

Pg. 23-29 Snake Reports! – choose a snake to research - copy the writing boxes and the patterns, fill them out with your snake research, attach a picture to the picture box- cut out and arrange the parts to your report and glue them in place – color your snake accordingly, cut along the line, glue the tongue and head in place, carefully arrange and glue the snake on the cover of your report – see example
Pg. 30-31 – Text Details and Conclusions – write your two text details with your conclusion – color the snake and accordion fold the paper – see example – enough for two students per page
