Deaf Culture: Who Am I? Celebrity Research Projects - Volume 2

Completing a celebrity research project can be such a great way to open your student’s eyes to deaf culture and the language of ASL. Information is presented on visual engaging slides with handy search hints and highlights provided for each figure.

These key individuals may be chosen by students based on their research and interest level. Teacher has the option for ASL students to work alone or in small groups to build their PowerPoint projects, putting together a biography presentation to share with the class. A portion of or the whole presentation made be given in ASL, depending on level of class.
