Description

Extend your students’ understanding of Robert Frost’s Biography and his three poems: “Nothing Gold Can Stay”, “Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening” and “The Road Not Taken” with a Dead Poets Society viewing and study of “O Captain! My Captain!”. With references to Frost’s poems and ties to themes of nonconformity, your students will engage in a rousing discussion on conformity before taking an assessment to show what they have acquired during the supplemental unit.
