    Description

This Day of the Dead Bundle includes a 59-slide El día de los muertos PowerPoint, three videos, Google Drive Activities, written and digital activities in Spanish and English, an art project, and vocabulary lists in Spanish and English. Middle or high school students of all levels learn about the practices of the Day of the Dead in Mexico and Latin America and the vocabulary associated with that custom. They describe the practices orally and in writing, write an essay comparing Halloween to el Día de los Muertos and listen to three native speakers talk about the DOD practices in their country and how those practices do and don’t conflict with their Christian beliefs. There are different versions for Spanish One, Two, Three, and advanced. Students make their own papel picado with a stencil. Digital activities are included for distance learning.
