Dash Robot Intro and Challenge: Lesson AND Driving Mat

About this activity: In this lesson, students are first introduced to the Dash Robot, including the parts of Dash, how to treat Dash, and how to drive Dash using the Go for Dash App. Then, they drive the robot through a roundabout (mat included).

The included driving mat can be printed on 8.5 x 11-inch paper and taped together or printed on large-scale paper (40 by 28-inch poster paper suggested).

JANUARY 2024 Update: We've added a new version of the roundabout driving mat to the Google Slides (see page 6). This version includes detailed directions for assembly, as well as a printable version that includes cut lines and a key to know where each page goes.
