Description
Sustainability is an important concept for our students who are becoming global citizens. In this unit, students will explore the origins of chocolate and the process of keeping chocolate production sustainable. From a unit hook of chocolate tasting to a final assessment of creating a wrapper for their own sustainable chocolate, this unit will provide upper level Spanish students the skills to explain the effects of the environment on cacao and the ways to make production more sustainable.
This product is unit 1.8 of Somewhere to Share's Huellas curriculum for intermediate students. It can also be used as a stand-alone unit.
