Description

Do you have reluctant writers who "don't know what to write about"?

This is a 3 part set of Daily Writing Materials that you can use for a daily writing station or as materials for a whole group writing lesson.

By using a predictable format for students, you are setting clear expectations and offering consistency that will lower the amount of time that you will spend answering questions about directions each day.

Part 1: 30 Daily Writing Task Cards

Simply print, laminate and cut and this becomes a self-sustaining station that can be used year round!

Students can draw a daily writing prompt and respond to it in any form you choose.

I typically like to have blank writing templates at my writing station for my students to respond to, but it is totally up to you!

Use for:

WHOLE GROUP

DAILY WRITING WARM UP

WRITING STATION

Part 2: 30 Daily Projection Slides

Simply project one prompt a day! Students can read the daily writing prompt and respond to it in any form you choose.

I typically like to have blank writing templates at my writing station for my students to respond to or you can have them write in a daily journal. It is totally up to you!

Use for:

•Writing Time

•Morning Work

Part 3: Daily Writing Pages

Choose from several different unique designs and layouts to meet the needs of all of your students while also allowing them to be creative with their writing paper choice.

You can assign one page writing templates or have students “publish” four page booklets.

OR create a community of writers by creating a class book of one page writing samples!

Blank writing booklets include rubrics on the first page to allow you to go give feedback to students and record a writing grade all in one place!

With a variety of templates, you only have to go to one document to print out paper for all of your students - those who need multiple lines and those who aren't there yet!

Most importantly… these blank writing templates and books are kid friendly and very easy to use.

Use these Blank Writing Templates for:

  • Whole Group Lessons
  • Writer’s Workshop
  • Writing Intervention
  • Writing Journals
  • Literacy/Writing Stations
  • any other writing activities

**All templates come in simple lined and primary lined options

“Our son has autism and abstract concepts are very difficult for him to grasp. Your writing prompts are clear enough so he can understand them, plus it’s very fun so he keeps working on his journal.”
