Description
This document can be printed out to have 12 sets of daily times table questions. One set contains 12 questions. Each set has room for the date at the top and room for the time at the bottom, so this can be part of your daily maths lesson routine where you time how long it takes every child to finish one set. They can strive to beat their times. One of the Excel worksheets contains 24 sets and as you move through the sets they increase in difficulty, beginning with the 2 and 10s times tables and finally progressing onto the 12 times tables. The tables are mixed up in order to challenge and the children and ensure they are not just relying on the counting pattern of a particular times table, but can actually recall quickly the answer to each times table questions. There is also a blank worksheet with the numbers 1-12 (muddle up) to the left of the x sign, but no number on the right allowing for you to select which timetable the child needs to practise and have them fill in the number to the right side of the x sign.
