What educators are saying

This resource was great and I loved the editable piece so that I can add any activity I want or need to
This is a great resource to use with in my classroom. This is very helpful to my students and myself!

Description

Schedules are important for many students (and teachers!). It helps them know when events and activities will happen, makes them feel connected to the day and prepares them for what's next.

Do you have a daily schedule posted? Wish you could easily move things around and change the times? Well here you go!

These labels are editable and a great place to start. Print them on card stock or index paper, laminate, add magnets or Velcro and post! I like having the time, both analog and digital, but just the labels can be used too.

If you have calendar people, you can have them match the clock face to the digital or vise verse as one more way to practice telling time!

I add the hands onto the clock in different colors, blue hour hands and red minute hands, but you can do any color. I also laminate a few blanks so we can add special events or times when things pop up.

A little about the label names:

-Genius Time is our "free choice" project time. Students work on areas they want to learn in or I may pull students that need additional support. It's fairly open ended, the only rules are; Have a plan, Respect the learning of others (keep the noise down), Use resources wisely, and share your learning (or project) with others. There is a lot of speaking and listening going on here!

-Enrichment is a specialist class where students meet with a specialist in STEM.

-IDR is Independent Daily Reading

-HWT is Handwriting Without Tears

-Reading Room is our reading instruction time with the building reading specialist and several paras

-Making Meaning is another reading strategy curriculum

-Something for your head, Something for your heart! is a quick share out at the end of the day. I ask the student to "Think back on the day. What will you leave the classroom with -Something for your head? A piece of knowledge or a new skill that is in your head. What will you take for your heart? Share out with whole group, small group or partners. Again, lots of speaking and listening.

I hope you enjoy these. Let me know if you would like other label titles or times. I am happy to help.
