What educators are saying

This seller provides high-quality resources. They are thorough and interesting; my students and I are never disappointed.
My students loved the different options (paper and Google Slides). I also loved the Word of the Day! This helped expand vocabulary for some kiddos

Description

Daily journals are the perfect tool for any upper elementary classroom. Build essential writing skills while incorporating a growth mindset, self-reflection, and character development. It’s the ultimate way to incorporate SEL with writing standards.

Each daily journal is two pages.

Page one is the self-reflection piece. On this engaging page, students are prompted to think about their lives, emotions, and character.

Page two is a more in-depth journal prompt. Here, students are given a full page to create a variety of writing. On this page, students will create personal narratives, use critical thinking, write letters, reflect on an experience, and more!

This journal includes FORTY WEEKS of engaging writing practice.

There are FOUR ways to experience this journal.

  1. Printable Daily Journal  - A printable version of the self-reflection and journaling pages. This version binds beautifully into a booklet.
  2. Quick Print Pages Want to complete the journaling prompts in a physical notebook? There are TWO options for that. OPTION ONE – a single printable page with all 5 prompts for the week. Glue this page into a notebook and refer back to it each day OPTION TWO – a page of daily prompts. Print out a class set, cut out the strips, and have students glue them to the top of their notebook page.
  3. Digital Prompts - Project the longer writing prompts and allow students to write their responses on paper or in a notebook.

Looking for even more daily practice to build critical skills in upper elementary? Don’t miss these!
