Description

Writing Prompts

This activity was originally a fun back to school virtual scavenger hunt. I often turned these scavenger hunts into writing prompts. Now that we're back in school, I've added prompts and the photographs are perfect for morning work or journal inspiration.

Scavenger Hunt

Get your students moving, having fun, and begin building your classroom community with this virtual scavenger hunt! To complete this game students move around their houses to find items. There are many ways to play! You can divide the class into two groups (girls/boys) to see who finds the item first and gets a point, students can take a turn to share their specialitem, they can each hold up their item up to the camera to show the class, or a special item could inspire a writing activity. The choices are endless.

Includes 50 writing prompts and/or 50 scavenger hunt activities.
