OVERVIEW:

PREVIEWING THIS RESOURCE: Due to the nature of this product, a video preview will be easier for you get a full understanding of it and how it works. Please check out the preview video HERE.
Want a Physical or Print Version? Please note that this activity has almost identical activities to the physical version of PRINT Escape the Room: CIA. However, these are all DIGITAL and SELF-CORRECTING versions in Google Sheets. I have also added 9 videos to create the story and help students understand how to solve the problems.
ACTIVITIES INCLUDED:
This resource asks students to solve seven different mathematical activities that involve place value, addition, and subtraction.
1. Build the Path (Rounding Numbers) - This activity asks students to build a path from "Start" to "Finish" using dominoes. Students will need to round the number on the right-side of the domino. Once they use the dropdown menu to insert their answer, the next domino will appear.
2. Quizagram (Standard, Word, Expanded Form) - This activity asks students to solve eight problems about writing numbers in standard, word, and expanded form. Students will then use their answer to solve an additional problem. Students will be informed when they have the correct letters AND when they have solved the anagram.
3. Decode the Message (Place Value, Value, and Digit) - This activity asks students to find the digit, place value, and value of several underlined digits. Their answers will automatically place letters into the solution. If they have answered them all correctly, the message will glow green.
4. Cut the Wire (Comparing Numbers) - This activity asks students to compare multiple sets of numbers to determine which "wires" need to be "cut" in order to escape the room.
5. Picking the Lock (Adding and Subtracting Numbers) - This activity asks students to find the missing numbers on the lock by solving addition and subtraction problems.
6. Pathway Passcode (Place Value, Value, and Digits) - This activity asks students to find the correct path on a "touchpad" screen by solving questions about place value, value, and digits.
7. Vocab-key (Vocabulary) - This activity asks students to match vocabulary words to their definitions to create a computer chip.
