DBQ Activity for Labor and Wages

This activity is used to examine four articles which discuss the labor market. Each of the articles has been rated for difficulty, and are accompanied by separate question sheets. Students are grouped according to your opinion of their reading comprehension levels. Once they complete their assignments in their "expert" groups, they are then mixed together so that at least one member from each "expert" group is present. They then receive a second response sheet with questions designed to require each person to teach their peers the information from their original article. There are further directions and applicable Indiana Economics Standards and Literacy Standards contained in the excel spreadsheet. Links to the articles are provided at the bottom of each DBQ response sheet.
