Add these activities to your Internet Safety Unit about Cyberbullying.
After completing these lessons, students will:
Identify at least 5 different types of Cyberbullying, identify Cyberbullying laws in their state, explain where Cyberbullying takes place most often, list steps to take if they experience Cyberbullying, provide examples of Cyberbullying in various forms and more.
Activity 1: Print and handout the Cyberbullying WebQuest packet. The 6 page Cyberbullying WebQuest packet includes 16 questions (most questions require multiple answers) in which students will define terms, provide specific examples related to Cyberbullying, and analyze. Activity 2: Class Discussions – Includes 4 Class Discussions to complete after the Cyberbullying WebQuest includes a brief video and web links.
Activity 3: Students create a PowerPoint or Google Slides Presentation – Students are given a website defining types of Cyberbullying and their job is to create a PowerPoint or Google Slides presentation indicating the type of Cyberbullying with specific examples of how these types of Cyberbullying would occur.
