Cupcake War Math Practice Simulation!

A simulated Cupcake War (like the TV series) to get your students doing math!
Students are given a budget and are tasked with making enough cupcakes for all the classes in their grade for the cupcake contest! The pdf guide helps to walk students through the process of calculating how many cupcakes they need, how much of each ingredient they need, how much the project will cost, how much time they will need to prepare, and of course designing the decorations on the top!
This is a great exercise to help your students practice addition, multiplication, money, fractions, time, and a little creative art project in a realistic and meaningful way.
Included:
--A guide that describes the task and walks students through the thinking process. A small pencil icon indicates where the student need to do some math and figure an answer.
--Graphic organizer for students to do their work on and record their answers (there are two slightly different versions for you to choose from).
--A cupcake coloring page for the student to demonstrate what their cupcake will look like!
