What educators are saying

Great resource. My students really learned a lot by using this. It was easy to use with my class.

Description

These mock trial templates are designed for middle and high school students that are either enrolled in a law class or are participating in criminal mock trials. These templates not only explain how to write an opening statement, direct examination, cross examination, and closing argument, but they also provide a template for writing each of them. Moreover, the opening and closing sections include templates for both the prosecution and the defense. These templates are designed for criminal mock trials. Students are guided through each important aspect of their role from theme and theory to statute elements and the burden of proof. Students can either use the templates, as written, or adapt them to their own writing style. My students have found these templates very useful.
