Who Did It?

Crime Week occurred in my second grade class as we neared the end of the school year...our gumball machine has been stolen! The detective notebook has short one page lessons on forensic science, fingerprints, chromatography, and hair identification. There is a page for the children to sketch the crime scene, list the evidence they discover at the crime scene, create a list of suspects and questions for those suspects. I have included samples of fingerprints from eight people which includes both hands as well as footprints from eight people. I have a page of fingerprints from the suspect and a footprint from the suspect where the children can try to match them to the samples. The crime is not planned for you in this product.
