Description

This handout can be used with creative writing, English or drama students when the assignment is to write a play. It offers

1. an outline of basic stage direction elements

2. an outline for writing scripts

3. Write Now!- two dozen ideas for comedic/dramatic plays.

Creating drama is a natural for young people. These activities offer them the chance to combine their realities with the fiction that they design.

As always, this activity- PDF version- may be downloaded and printed for classroom use. Also, an Easel Activity is ready to be used for Google Classroom.
