Description
Awesome process that helps students create in-depth and complex theme statements beyond just "good defeats evil" overly simplistic ones. This helps students think outside the box with theme and create multiple themes for texts. Students will feel confident by the end in their ability to write theme statements and they love learning and applying the skill with Pixar shorts on youtube!
This works for my general education classes, my ELL supported classes, and my AP Lit classes! The process works!
This lesson plan works great digitally/online AND in-person. Always a hit with students.
