How to use this in your class? We dissect the eye during our Sensory Systems unit in Essentials of Healthcare. I've found that this dissection is the most fun and engaging of all because the students can easily distinguish all of the different parts. Best of all, the eyes are pretty cost effective! This worksheet helps students guide their thoughts and, after it's graded, I have them use it as part of their study guide for the unit test! You can print it and have students hand write their lab worksheet, or you can insert it into their LMS (I use Canvas) and let them edit it on their devices! It took us two days to completely dissect the eye, locate the structures, and measure them!
