What educators are saying

I love all of the notes from Texas Criminal Justice Curriculum. My students especially appreciate the guided notes so they are not writing everything by hand. The notes are informative and engaging. I use TCJC notes for almost every unit in all my classes.

Description

This PowerPoint and guided notes set goes over the process of court- from arrest and bail to pleas, pre-trial motions, the grand jury, plea bargains and then the process of a criminal trial. Voire dire is explained as well as opening/closing statements, testimony, verdicts, sentencing and appeals. These notes are a great overview of the court system procedures, which I use in my Principles of Law class.

Included in the set are the PowerPoint, a blank set of guided notes and a filled-in set of notes (in Microsoft Word to be printed) for struggling learners or absent students.

Principles of Law TEKS: 10B, 10C, 10D
