Description

Are you looking for a fun, interactive math lesson to teach your young students about pennies and nickels? These piggy bank themed money SMARTboard activities teach about the value of the coins, specifically nickels. All pages can be used whole group and small group.

Included in this Lesson:

  • Money Poem – a poem about pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters
  • What’s a Nickel – nickel descriptions, and comparison with pennies
  • Identify the Nickels – sort the nickels from the rest of the coins
  • What's the Value? – count the nickels in the piggy bank and click on the correct price tag
  • Money Match – match the amounts with the correct price tag
