Students loved feeding the animals. They enjoyed counting out the food then feeding their animal. Great activity.
My students were very engaged with all of the activities. It was great for my students with special needs.

    Description

This bundle of Counting Math Interventions will help you provide remediation for children who need extra help counting with one-to-one correspondence.

    This bundle covers numbers 3, 4, 5, and 6.

There are 6 printable activities for each number:

    • Action Cards (Hop 4 times, etc.)
    • Slide and Count Activity
    • Feed the Animals Activity
    • Burp Game
    • Play Dough Counting Mats
    • Number Book (For children to draw)

Please see the previews for more details!

Please note that the same games (with some variations) are used for each number! This provides repetition, and once children learn how to play the games, they are ready to learn each number.

The purpose of this bundle is to focus only on counting to one number. It uses a lot of repetition of counting to that number.

These packs would work well with children who need extra practice with one-to-one correspondence.

Observational assessment sheets are included for the small group activities.

This Math Intervention pack was designed for Pre-K, Preschool. If you use it in other grade levels, please let me know.

When counting objects, say the number names in the standard order, pairing each object with one and only one number name and each number name with one and only one object.
Understand that the last number name said tells the number of objects counted. The number of objects is the same regardless of their arrangement or the order in which they were counted.
