FYI - Please Note: In the years that this resource has been available, a few teachers have mentioned the pronunciation of the word "rugir. It should be a soft /g/. Regional dialects vary. Eden, a French-Canadian singer, sings 'rugir' with a hard /g/. I hired a producer, a guitarist, and a vocalist to complete this task. It took several retakes to make the sounds as clear as possible. The pronunciation of rugir was accepted by the parent and the French teacher. If this is an issue for your students, I suggest mentioning regional dialects, discussing how Eden pronounces rugir with a hard /g/, and then explaining why they need to sing rugir with a soft /g/. I hope that helps.

If you would like printed lyrics ... these mp3s are the perfect addition to Chansons Phoniques Classroom Charts!
