What educators are saying

I really liked using this resource with my class for math. They had never done something like this before so there was a lot of learning. They enjoyed it!
So engaging. My students were getting tired of pencil and paper, so this really helped to grab their attention and review a skill!

Description

Help make graphing ordered pairs on a coordinate plane fun! 18 leveled interactive digital slides help student explore the 1st quadrant of a coordinate grid. Includes whole number and fraction coordinates. Includes activities to locate ordered pairs on a coordinate grid, identify the coordinates of a specific location, and solve mystery picture puzzles. Most activities include 5 similar pages so students can practice on simpler problems and then challenge themselves once they are comfortable with the skill.

Students interact with Google Slides using movable pieces, text boxes, and drawing tools. Delete pages to provide easy differentiation options. Please see the preview and video for specific examples of this digital resource.

Use a pair of perpendicular number lines, called axes, to define a coordinate system, with the intersection of the lines (the origin) arranged to coincide with the 0 on each line and a given point in the plane located by using an ordered pair of numbers, called its coordinates. Understand that the first number indicates how far to travel from the origin in the direction of one axis, and the second number indicates how far to travel in the direction of the second axis, with the convention that the names of the two axes and the coordinates correspond (e.g., 𝘹-axis and 𝘹-coordinate, 𝘺-axis and 𝘺-coordinate).
