- Convert customary units of measure to find the store with the largest area.
- Create the sign for their store by converting customary units.
- Correctly identify the appropriate unit of measure for various materials.
- Convert both customary and metric units to find out if they have enough building materials.
- Convert units of time to hire the best employees.
- Answer follow-up questions about the project.
This is great for an at-home project, or in-class project at the end of a unit. Students could also work in groups or partners to complete the project!
