There is only one answer key because it is the same for both sets. This means that you mix and match the cards. If you want to focus on just one skill, just use one set of cards. However, if you would like students to use both skills within the same activity, you can intersperse the cards and the answer key will still work. So for example you could:
Switch the odd cards between the sets so that you now have two mixed decks.
Switch the first half of one set with the second half of the other so that students can practice one skill and then the other.
Intersperse only a few cards from the other set in order to reinforce the skill they have already learned with the one they are working on now.

Here’s what teachers are saying:
✏️ "My students love task cards. I think they like the size, the opportunity to get up and move around to find the next one (yeah built in motor breaks!). Great practice." -Kellie B.
✏️ "These cards have been great. we work through one page on the interactive whiteboard and then they practice individually. Having them check in with me for the answers after every 5 cards, means I can easily assess who is 'getting it' and who is still struggling. We can then work through any issues 1:1. Thanks for another great resource." -Joanne S.
✏️ "I love all of your products. Your task cards are always part of my classroom center rotations. My fourth graders are engaged and talking about the concept which helps reinforce/review the skill." -Janelle K.
