    Are you looking for hands on conversation pragmatic practice materials? Do you have students that struggle with maintaining a back and forth conversation? Well look no further.

    This packet contains hands on practice that focuses on students asking questions and making comments in order to keep a conversation going. Students utilize cards with extensive question and comment prompts to create their own on-topic conversational questions and comments. Using token boards, students are able to self-manage their number of questions and comments that they engage in during each conversation. This visual prompt will help students keep their conversational responses reciprocal and balanced.

    Included in this packet are 270 engaging conversation topic prompts that can be used to drive a wide range of different conversations with your students.

    This product is an interactive way for students to have hands on learning to help develop key social skills. Multiple different activities are included in this product to help teach students how to:

    -Greet someone appropriately

    -Start a conversation (including: Good and bad conversation topics, wrong/right time to start a conversation, different conversation starter questions/comments)

    -Keep a conversation going/maintaining conversation

    -Appropriate body language when having a conversation

    -End a conversation

    Students are encouraged to color, cut and paste their own templates into their notebooks so that they get a sense of ownership into what they have created. Titles can be color coded and colored tabs can be added so that students are able to easily and frequently reference their work when practicing their social skills in their different social environments.
