Contemporary Pedagogical Practices - Professional Development Presentation

In this 90-minute, already prepared, Professional Development Workshop, you can provide your staff with contemporary and inclusive terminology and methods that they can use in the classroom. Some terminology that they will walk away with includes Culturally Responsive Practices, Culturally Relevant Practices, Antiracist Teaching, and Abolitionist Teaching. All research is cited in the presentation and comes with an additional script for the presenter to use as a guide. Everything is customizable, editable, and shared in a way that makes staff members able to have brave conversations surrounding best practices for students. The presentation also comes with student work examples (that can be replaced with examples from your own school) in addition to appreciative inquiry based "brave space" conversation starters.
