This "If I Were a Constellation" creative writing prompt set is an excellent way for students to familiarize themselves with mythological and Zodiac constellations! It also makes a nice mini-assessment to get a quick idea of students' creative writing ability!
This set includes:
If I Were ... Writing Prompt Pages: 22 pages included to complete the phrase: Constellation (blank for your own choice not included), Andromeda, Aquarius, Aries, Cancer, Canis Major, Capricorn, Cassiopeia, Gemini, Hercules, Leo, Libra, Orion, Pegasus, Pisces, Sagittarius, Scorpio, Taurus, Ursa Major, Ursa Minor, and Virgo.
Directions and Constellation Fun Fact Cards: There are directions for students to understand the requirements or an editable page to create your own requirements. There are also 20 fun fact cards to share with students if they need more help with facts for their assigned constellation.
Rubrics: There are two different rubrics: 1 rubric to grade the overall assignment and 1 different to grade the written paper. Though they come with suggested point values, they are also editable to give your own values.
