Description
If your students struggle to distinguish types of conflict in literature, look no further! This visual representation of internal and external conflicts types will help students to independently guide their thinking. Based on the logical progression of the questions, students will be lead to a Man verses self, man, fate, nature, or society conflict.
To use this map, students follow the guiding questions and the yes/no arrows to lead them towards a conflict label. This resource is meant to helps students logically eliminate certain types of conflict that would not apply to the example they are analyzing. Plus, this tool can be used again and again! Students should have this cheat-sheet handy whenever they're reading for literary conflicts!
*BONUS! Students can even create their own conflict map by dragging and dropping the details into a logical arrangement on the slide! Great for a challenging project!
