Description

Compound Nouns. Study more in depth about compound words with this fully animated Google Slides presentation helps students use and punctuate compound nouns in their writing. Fun and engaging compound word puzzles break up the informational slides about closed compounds, open compounds, and hyphenated compounds. Students learn the difference between the three types of compound words, and basic rules about when to use each type. Special attention is given to when and when not to use a hyphen. Review and check test at the end with answer key. Students can type on the slide.

Use presentations like this in video conferencing or Zoom for remote learning. Share with students in Google Classroom. View in Slide Show mode to see animations but do the Check Test in Edit mode to write on the slide. If you don't want them to have the answer key, remove it first. ;) It is editable. 27 slides.
