Description

Are you looking for a highly-engaging activity for your students that is directly aligned to Math TEK 3.3D (Composing & Decomposing Fractions) and can be set up in a instant, freeing you from long hours of repetitive grading?

Beyond just saving time, these cards are highly effective at providing the practice your students need to move to mastery of the 3.3D standard. All questions have been thoughtfully differentiated into 3 levels of rigor, allowing your class to build confidence in their skills before encountering higher level thinking questions that are introduced towards the end of the set.

Assign on whatever platform you feel most comfortable with, whether that be (1) Google Forms, (2) Google Slides, (3) Boom Cards, (4) Seesaw, (5) Or TPT's own Easel platform. Just click and assign. It couldn't be easier. The work has already been done for you!

METHODOLOGY - HOW WE WENT ABOUT CREATING THIS SET

Each question is aligned to the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) state standard 3.3D, and is specifically designed to meet documented student expectations for that standard. The questions are patterned on previously released State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) Math Tests. The questions can be used for guided practice and independent practice.

*Careful attention has been put into each question so they won't be so challenging as to discourage your students, while still being rigorous enough to prepare your students for testing and assessment.
