Complete Sub Plans 1 (Arrival to Dismissal)
Description
The worst part of creating sub plans isn’t finding the activities, it’s writing the actual sub plans.
These sub plans are 90% complete. This includes actual sub plans for the substitute teacher to follow from ARRIVAL to DISMISSAL, with helpful classroom management strategies, along with lessons and activities. The HARD PART is done.
What is the 10%? Examples below:
- Review the plans and make any Red Font corrections or durations to fit your classroom (as the durations are generic)
- Edit if you have specific classroom mgmt or expectations that you need the sub to follow
- Add in bathroom procedures, dedicated bathroom and snack breaks, dismissal procedures
- Printing and organizing the sheets
Lessons are geared towards 3rd graders, based on VA SOL standards taught in the first quarter but can be used for end of year 2nd graders. This is ideal for review purposes. As teachers, it is difficult to assign a sub to teach new content. Therefore, review lessons are great fillers on your day of absence.
