This engaging, low-prep resource is a fun way for students to practice reading informational text. It includes an alligator reading comprehension passage, a crocodile reading comprehension passage, comprehension questions for both passages, an alligator vs. crocodile chart for students to fill out, and a snowball fight or scavenger hunt activity that requires students to compare and contrast the two animals (for your ELA class).
Students will learn about the differences and similarities between crocodiles and alligators and complete activities to help them practice comparing and contrasting. The nonfiction reading passages also work great as paired passages.
