Community Helpers 9 day Unit (No Prep, No Print!)

This is a 9-day community helpers unit that requires absolutely NO prep! Each lesson includes the daily focus, a fun guessing activity to warm the students up, a description of the community helper for the day, a fun activity (labeling, sorting tools, making lists, etc), and continues with a song or story for the day. Each lesson ends with a writing/drawing extension (used for assessment) that the students can complete in their own notebooks/paper. This would also make a fantastic distance learning resource! (I used for both in-person and distance learning teaching)

The community helpers included are: Detective, doctors & nurses, Firefighters, EMT's & Paramedics, Teachers & Paras, Veterinarians, Chefs & Bakers, Police Officers, Mail Carriers
