Description
You will need SMART Notebook software to use this file. This week long unit (4 days) is made to be used on your SMART Board. It is based on the book "Itse Selu: Cherokee Harvest Festival," an informational text on the Cherokee Native Americans.
Students will learn about the Cherokee, as well as learn about getting to know themselves as a reader: choosing a just right book, the five finger rule, etc.
This unit includes 14 slides that you can also print for student responses.
