Description
This handout outlines a Common Core aligned Controversial Issue Project. Students will choose a worthwhile issue, create a rationale, develop a narrative, lead a lesson/debate on the topic as well as complete a research paper and reflection. This unit outline was designed as a 4-6 week project for a Writing Workshop class.
