Description

Visit Kelly's store and learn all about COMMAS IN A SERIES in an interactive PowerPoint or Google Slides presentation! The slides are fully animated and show how commas separate items in a list. This makes teaching the oxford comma easy to understand and remember. Five printables are included (a poster, three worksheets, and a flip book) to reinforce and consolidate new grammar concepts. Perfect for students in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd grade.

What is the OXFORD comma?

The Oxford comma (also called the serial comma, or series comma) is the comma placed before the final conjunction in a list of three or more items.

Example:

I ate apples, pears, and peaches.

Important Technical Information:

  • Always unzip and save the files before opening the PowerPoint or printing the PDF pages.
  • Remember to open the PowerPoint file with PowerPoint software and the Google Slides file with Google Slides software.
