Description

In this mystery image activity, students will work to simplify expressions by combining like terms and using the distributive property. Students will combine like terms to simplify expressions, use the distributive property to simplify expressions, then use a combination of the distributive property and combining like terms to complete the mystery picture! When students successfully answer all questions, their mystery picture (a donut) appears!

If students type incorrect answers, the cell will turn red.

This spreadsheet has been formatted to include protected ranges so students are warned before making any alterations to the spreadsheet. If a student were to try to alter or delete a piece of the spreadsheet other than where answers should be typed, a warning box will appear.
