Description

With this activity, students will simplify expressions by combining like terms. They will then identify the coefficient or constant in each simplified expression and color it accordingly to complete a beautiful pattern! As an added bonus, the final product makes fabulous classroom decor!

This activity includes 2 differentiated versions to help support struggling learners. The adapted version is has been simplified by removing any exercises requiring the distributive property. Check the preview to see the differences!

This activity is an excellent resource for sub plans, enrichment/reinforcement, early finishers, and extra practice with some fun.
