Description
Economics is about the choices people make and according to the President’s Advisory Council on Financial Literacy the definition of personal financial literacy is “the ability to use knowledge and skills to manage financial resources effectively for a lifetime of financial well-being.”
The objective of this project is to provide students with the experience of independent living and engage in real world personal finance. This will require budgeting for necessary expenses while learning to understand the challenges one will face working full-time and help students reflect on some of the challenges they will face when they are in charge of their own well-being.
