College Search Activity for High Schoolers (Ready to Print!) // Scholarship Info

This College Search activity allows students to use CollegeBoard's BigFuture site to explore thousands of colleges based on their unique preferences.

In this activity, students use filters to narrow down their search to 3 colleges and answer a variety of questions based on those three colleges. The site is very easy to navigate and the questions allow students to get a feel for what college/university is right for them (in terms of cost, location, majors, etc).

The reflection questions give students the opportunity to think deeper about their college choice and what's important to them.

The final page sends students to another site: Appily (formerly Cappex) to explore various scholarship opportunities available to them and to learn more about college majors. This is a great resource for both high school seniors who'd like to know more about their future school, and even freshmen who are just starting to think about their lives after high school.
