Cold or Kind: Social Behavior Sort

83 unique cards to sort! This product targets social behaviors and is great for social language or counseling groups focusing on perspective taking, expected behaviors, kindness, and manners.

2 sorting mats (in color) - one for COLD and one for KIND

PLUS black and white versions of all things listed above

AND a writing page for students to create their own scenarios and discuss whether they would be "cold" or "kind".

The COLD mat is for actions that might hurt someone's feelings, inappropriate/unpredictable behaviors, things that make others uncomfortable, dangerous, or dishonest behaviors.

The KIND mat is for actions that make others feel good, appropriate/predictable behavior, respectful actions, things that help others, responsible and safe behavior.

Lay the sorting mats face up on the table and then give the students the 83 sorting cards. After reading/hearing the card, they will decide which mat to place it on.
